Along the way, we realized that many good people just like you want to help.
So, we formalized these combined efforts toward a shared goal.
Quigley’s Shelter Pets is an expression of love. It is where caring people "Lend-a-Heart":
- Through rescue of sick, injured, or at-risk cats or other small homeless animals in our area of operation, receiving immediately-needed veterinary care.
- Functioning as a no-kill organization.
- Providing permanent shelter, food, loving attention, and ongoing medical care to improve quality of life for the rest of the lives of our rescued pets.
- Focusing attention on the rescue of pets that are less adoptable due to age, handicap, or temperament.
- Engaging the local community in “Lending-a-Heart” through fundraising efforts, kindness toward at-risk animals, and spay/neuter awareness.
- Help find a solution for those people who wish to keep or continue to care for their companion animals, but who may themselves be struggling due to age, infirmity, or financial issues.
- Compassionately and responsibly working toward a more humane situation for animals in our locality and globally.
